All Yesterdays" is an illustrated survey of possibilities and details we might be overlooking in contemporary reconstructions of extinct animals. In two parts, we examine speculative possibilities that may not have been preserved in the fossil record, and muse on what future palaeontologists may think when reconstructing animals that live today.
Can't wait to get the book, simply breathtaking! Maybe i'm exaggerating, but from what i read and saw on the net, it's the BEST dinosaur book of the last 10 years
Just got the book yesterday for the Kindle and it's very interesting! I will definitely be recommending it to my other friends who are fascinated by paleontology. Many of them already know of the book due to the io9 article, so it's definitely getting some recognition already. Congrats!
I think generations of dinosaur reconstructors down through the years must have scratched their heads and gone 'How?' over this one.
By the way, the book is beautiful on the iPad. I don't know how it looks on a real Kindle but the art is just gorgeous on a retina display. Can't wait for the dead tree version!
