Exclusive Art from Our New Book! by nemo-ramjet Exclusive Art from Our New Book! by nemo-ramjet
My artwork from our latest book with John Conway and Darren Naish. For a full view of what's going on visit [link] today and buy your soft or hard copy today!

All Yesterdays" is an illustrated survey of possibilities and details we might be overlooking in contemporary reconstructions of extinct animals. In two parts, we examine speculative possibilities that may not have been preserved in the fossil record, and muse on what future palaeontologists may think when reconstructing animals that live today.

"All Yesterdays" is a good book. I wrote an essay about it this past year in English. Thank you for the inspiration, Mr. Kosemen.

I just bought the Kindle edition, and I'm reading it right now with the Cloud Reader. It's pretty good, if I do say so myself.

Just got the book yesterday for the Kindle and it's very interesting!
I will definitely be recommending it to my other friends who are fascinated by paleontology. Many of them already know of the book due to the io9 article, so it's definitely getting some recognition already. Congrats!

I think generations of dinosaur reconstructors down through the years must have scratched their heads and gone 'How?' over this one.

By the way, the book is beautiful on the iPad. I don't know how it looks on a real Kindle but the art is just gorgeous on a retina display. Can't wait for the dead tree version!

Great work on this book :)

I bought it for Kindle, and I must say it's one of those few books that is as fascinating as it is amusing. But also a real eye-opener to the complexities of reconstructing prehistoric animals, it's a subject matter that should be more widely recognized indeed.

And let me say it's a beauty! Sadly I only got it on my little kindle, but even small and B/W, the pictures are amazing. To say nothing of the concepts!
Buy the book!

I'm aware they're classically viewed as two species, but I think the implication in this illustration is a "what if" the two were just a male and female of the same species.

I'm happy that you manged to finally release a book ! I downloaded a sample of the book (is it 207 pages ?) and it was spectacular and the illustrations are fantastic ! My favorite part has to be the future speculations of present organisms because it really makes you think and question the validity of the statement "it's not a realistic/accurate depiction" when it comes to organisms that have been long gone. Well I have another thing to add to my Christmas list :D

Very interesting indeed. Looks like a particularly amorous Stegosaurus has made a slight miscalculation with regards to this Camarosaurus. Not unbelievable at all given the instance in which a domestic cow did the same thing to me. ;)
