Robust Dinosauroid by nemo-ramjet Robust Dinosauroid by nemo-ramjet
The Gigantopithecus to the Dinosauroids' H. sapiens.

They walk through dark forests with staffs as long as telephone poles, howling and singing as they go.

what if the slender, smarter dinosauroids enslaved and selectively bred these for manual labor?

I just read your comments about this 3 METER-HIGH!!!! (gasp!) dinosauroid. How big are the regular dinosauroids exactly if this is so huge?

There's a size comparison with a human outline somewhere... I'd say would 1.2-1.5 meters tall.

the gigantopithecus to their H. sapiens eh?
So do these guys equate to the dinosauroid version of Sasquatch? That'd be hilarious/awesome. Scared sauroid hikers taking blurry photos of them and casting their footprints? Heheheh.

an amazing animal, nemo. would you mind if i borrowed some of your ideas for a project of mine in which dinosauroids can be simulated in a mythology-based strategy game?

This is really cool, how intellegent is this compared to a human? It kind of looks like a primitive member of the oviraptorosauria.
You should do other sapient dinosaurs and prehistoric reptiles, like Therizinosaurs, Dromaeosaurs, Tyrannosaurs, Hipsolophidontids and Mososaurs.

In our canon world, they are actually doing quite well. They are smart enough to build simple tools, and they are being forcefully domesticated to serve as bodyguards. Domestication is easier when most higher animals hatch from eggs and can be imprinted to you at an early age.

Raise one from the egg, and maybe. But training it to be your bodyguard would be far more cooler.

I presumed it would be serving both purposes, as my trusty mount. I could strap a few machine guns to it for the sake of badassing things up, though.
