I started a series of video podcasts about palaeontology, zoology, and anything that piques my interest, all supported by books and artwork from my library.
Very interesting videos, I really enjoyed watching them! You rise some pretty valid points with your anti-"item mentality" talks, though as you said in your latest video, this kind of itemazing thinking is a good way for starters who don't have even basic knowledge on prehistoric life. I doubt anyone who's not into more serious paleostuff would be able to understand more complexly presented ecological/behavioral/anatomical information. Maybe a mixture of both "item" and "non-item" mentality would be the best option for popular books on prehistoric life. And I totally agree with you that Dmitry's latest artworks are a good way to depict both the animals themselfs and them being part of particular ecosystem.
